Dental Implants
Dental implants are now the routine and gold standard treatment offered by many dentists around the world. They are widely viewed as the modern, natural and longest lasting solution to the problem of missing teeth.
You may wish to consider implants if you:
- have one or more missing teeth
- have lost or damaged teeth through trauma
- have broken or decayed teeth that might be beyond repair
- are uncomfortable with your dentures, partial denture or bridge
An initial 45 minute implant consultation with us costs just £85.00. For a full breakdown of costs visit our fees page.

What are implants?
Implants are small titanium screws that are placed in pre-drilled openings in the jaw bone to substitute the root area of a lost tooth. They are intended to join together with the jaw bone and provide a stable base for tooth restorations to be attached, including dental crowns, dentures and dental bridges.
They are made from titanium to prevent irritation and allergies. Though this is still a relatively new treatment it has already helped millions of people across the globe to successfully restore their smiles.
Advantages of implants
Implants are an effective solution for people who have missing teeth as it can restore a single tooth, a number of teeth or an entire arch of teeth. Implants are long-lasting and provide excellent levels of smile aesthetics and functionality. They allow you to speak clearly and eat what you like, providing a natural, healthy and attractive smile. Implants also work to lessen bone loss and, when used with dentures, increase bite power and ensure denture stability.
Am I a suitable candidate?
Most people who have missing teeth are suitable candidates for dental implants. In some instances, if there is a lack of dense bone tissue to sustain the implant, we may need to carry out a bone grafting procedure. Dental implants may not be suitable for people who smoke as this slows the body’s natural healing process and increases the risk of implant failure. During a consultation we will discuss all your needs and concerns about implants and your suitability.
We do offer sedation services for nervous patients and understand that implants treatment may seem daunting. Please feel free to discuss sedation with us.

I was absolutely terrified of dentists in general before visiting the Alpha House Dental Practice - I would physically shake with fear. Unfortunately I developed a painful abscess and looked for a local dental surgery to me. All I can say is that I feel so lucky to be a patient of the Alpha House Dental Surgery. Mr Hussain is a wonderful dentist - caring, gentle and understanding.
He understood my fears and did his best to put me at ease. The whole team at Alpha House are excellent, second to none, and all are extremely caring and kind. For anyone with a fear of dentists please go and visit Alpha House to see Mr Hussain and his lovely team. It doesn't feel like any dental surgery I have ever visited before. You really will be in the safest hands. Thank you to you all!
We were most impressed by the way in which you and your team handled every aspect of the job down to keeping our 2 year old son entertained it made the whole thing a pleasurable experience.
