ORTHODONTICS – THE SERVICE

Welcome to Orthodontics at Alpha House.

I am delighted to offer you and your patients a private referral clinic for Orthodontics at Alpha House Dental Practice.

Your patients will receive their Orthodontic treatment in a relaxed environment using the latest techniques and equipment.

An initial consultation will be arranged with your patient for a comprehensive assessment and to discuss treatment options. They will be given a detailed explanation of all the treatment options available, and procedures involved in their treatment. Following the consultation, they will be sent the treatment plan including costs and approximate treatment duration.

During the course of their treatment, the patients will be asked to see their referring dentists for routine check-ups and hygiene visits.

On completion of their orthodontic treatment, your patient will be returned to you for their on-going general dental care – according to your referral instructions. Patients and referring dentists will be able to contact me or the Practice Manager should any queries arise before, during or after the orthodontic treatment is undertaken. Your patient will only be offered treatment for which they have been specifically referred.

THE SERVICE WE ARE OFFERING TO REFERRING DENTISTS AND PATIENTS:

Patients will have a full consultation including clinical and radiographic examination based on the nature of the referral.
Patients will be fully consented for any treatment proposed and subsequently undertaken.
Patients will receive a written treatment plan outlining costs and the number of proposed appointments.
Patients will receive a high standard of care and treatment using modern equipment and materials.
Patients can contact us before, during or after their orthodontic treatment, should any queries arise. Likewise referring dentists can contact us regarding their patients’ progress.
Referring dentists will be kept informed of their patients’ progress.
A discharge letter and a copy of the final radiograph, if appropriate, will be sent to the referring dentist upon completion of each of their patient’s orthodontic treatment. The patient will also receive a copy of this.
No other treatment other than that for which the patient has been referred will be undertaken.

I am very happy to see patients for an initial consultation and every patient will receive an individualised treatment plan. Should your patient not be suitable for orthodontic treatment, they will be returned to your care with options for a suitable alternative.

Dr Daryl Crasta is passionate about Orthodontics and is dedicated to creating beautiful, healthy smiles to patients of all ages.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery in 2007 and went on to pursue a 3 year Post Graduate Specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics which he completed in 2011.

Daryl works as a Specialty Doctor in Orthodontics at Medway Maritime NHS Foundation Trust Hospital where he treats a wide range of complex Orthodontic cases.

Daryl is committed to keeping updated with the latest techniques in the rapidly evolving science of Orthodontics. Through this he can continue to help his patients achieve remarkable treatment results with customized treatment plans and evidence- based orthodontics using advanced orthodontic techniques such as Invisalign, metal & ceramic braces, Incognito lingual braces and mini- implants.

Daryl believes in providing personalised, compassionate care to each patient. He understands that orthodontic treatment is an investment, and he is committed to working with patients to develop a treatment plan that fits their individual needs and budget.
